I think they ought to eliminate the NIL and juts let kids go pro at any time they feel they want to.
To me the best solution is to keep the system in place where a kid signs a scholarship to have his educaton and living expenses paid in leiu of representing a Unversity in sport is a noble endeavo...

Huge props to Jontre for stepping up to be a leader. Nuss and Brennan aren't leaders. Real leaders are more concerned with the team than themselves. Sacrifice and commitment, if they don't show that trait how will they expect anyone else on the team to show it as well?...

I agree w this - Nuss WILL transfer out. He is scared that he won't beat out Brennan or Howard.
Him and Brennan screwed the team. Neither one of those guys will get drafted in early - mid rounds if at all. What do they have to lose.

I see alot of lawyers getting involved with NIL just to start a relationship with players so that they can represent them later as agents and get a return on the investment when they start getting paid in the pros.

The guy has roots in New Orleans. LSU has strong ties to LA and New Orleans that culture is strong at LSU. He has family in New Orleans and has dreamed of playing for LSU in Tiger Stadium. LSU has had a long history of Linebackers in the NFL since Saban despite the shite show years / poor coaching...

I hope some of these 5 star recruits are waiting until February. Pressure will be intense on them and some of them will be announcing The Army Allstar game Jan 1st.
The longer we wait the tougher it will be for these 5 star recruits to hold off.
Playoffs and bowls won't be done til mid Jan.

Saban knows the SEC west has always been through Auburn and LSU.
Anything he can do to insure he weakens those two teams and gains a competitive advantage he will do. No detail left uncovered....

Jacoby is an absolute must get LA boy 5 star safety. Top priority.
Harold Perkins is the next priority. Beastly 5 star LB is an absolute position of need.

I think that Louisiana produces alot of football talent and it's just a matter if Saban picking guys for positions if need but also to weaken us through theft of potential resources and to keep a strong pipeline connected to the state. The LA players help him recruit as well....
