I believe that they were building a bar/restaurant in Jennings. Rumor is that construction stopped due to the owner having health issues....

It's been awhile since I've been to either place but my next trip must include John Mueller Meat Co. or Franklin's. Both in Austin. I believe both are only open for lunch. At least a hour wait for BBQ. But it must be worth it if the line is long day after day....

This must be Mr. Sonnier who owned Peggy's Superette in the 90's. He eventually went over to help Peto's in its beginning....
