re: Opinions on Electrolux appliances - Sonic Boom
Thanks. This is more a response that I would expect on the f& d board. We had a pretty good deal on a package deal through stines here in youngsville and they pulled the plug on us. Money wise I doubt we can beat it, but I learned a quick lesson, I hope. I will pay a little more for better service. ...

Thermador is on our short list. A Relative has one and complains that when cooking in small pans it just heats the outer edges, not the middle of the pan. Positives and negatives on em all. ...

re: Best Stop - Sonic Boom
I abide by Dr. Barry Ancelet's law of Boudin. "The beat boudin you will ever eat is the best boudin closest to your home. The beSt crawfish you will ever eat is the beat crawfish farthest from your home." I live in broussard. So it's Billeaud's boudin and Richard's crawfish. ...

re: Recommend a metal roof installer-Youngsville area - Sonic Boom
Yeah. We want metal. Its old acadian style so going with the traditional 5 v crimp look. It is going over plywood decking and then stripped with 2x4s. It is 4100 under roof, and the metal will be about 35 feet long, so its more than myself and a few friends can handle....

Wife and I went several years ago. Best thing we did was take a haunted bar tour. This guy took us to about 10 different historic bars all around savannah. It was a walking tour. re: Anyone try Hook & Boil yet? (Broussard, LA) - Sonic Boom
We live in Broussard also. I am very much looking forward to a new higher end place to eat. Have never been impressed with LT's paying high dollar for a seafood platter you would swear could be an appetizer plate. Or the boiling point which is styrofoam plate heavy. I hope this place does well. I di...

We have an old one. We drain the oil through a screen/filter back into the original jug it came in, then freeze it until needed again. Just put the whole jug into the deep freezer.
