Shut down on me twice when I cranked it up to get water boiling again. Any quick remedies. I just hosed it down

You needed a bigger tank. Heat to evaporate the propane is what you need. Pour hot water (from tap) on it, keep it in the sun, etc.

I second putting the propane bottle in a tub or bucket of water. It won’t freeze up.

And the bonus is you will know how much is in the tank is because it will float once it’s near empty.
