You shouldn't have allegiance to any of it. The sad truth is that all too many of you are a bunch of faggy fan-boys. ...

Faking injuries so as not to be upstaged. Yep, that's what Cam was doing after McElroy went down. Oh how dramatic and theatrical it is to see Cam writhing on the ground in pain one minute, only to see him leap up, make a big play on the next series, then go scampering back to the line of scrimma...

leadership on teams

Posted by Americas Team on 11/27/10 at 8:21 am
What do "they" mean by the phrase - "this team lacks leadership" or "someone needs to step up to the plate on defense and show some leadership"? I can see how the quarterback is an obvious leadership role: plays are called and changed from this position, and the accompanying cast on offense must ...

{quote] I thought he had a winning record vs Nick Saban and or Alabama.
Nope. Saban and Alabama combined = Masterblaster. The only thing that can stop em is a high pitched whistle. ...

I'm starting to believe that the whole McCoy/Shipley phenomenon had more to do with Shipley than it did McCoy. Think about it. Shipley just has a knack for getting open. He makes it easy for the QB, whomever that QB may be. He's the go to guy, and about the only receiver they had who could hang ...
Bama v. Penn State, second game
Oh hell. That doesn't bode well for Joe Pa. Saban/bama contribute to the sacking of Tommy Bowden, Tommy Tuberville, Phil Fulmer. They make Tebow cry. They knock Colt McCoy out of his final college game. They cause Urban Meyer to have an anxiety at...

The statue

Posted by Americas Team on 1/10/10 at 12:42 pm
Doesn't Bear Bryant's statue depict him as he looked as an old fart? not when he'd actually won his first national championship? Well what happens if Saban stays for 20-30 years, wins boo-coo national championships and everybody remembers him at the height of his glory as this little, shriveled u...
Well, I'm an Alabama fan, but it's not like I worship Saban or anything. He's a damn good coach who takes his job seriously, and I like it. But really, I'm not going to go ga-ga over some other dude (like some giddy teenage girl would do), thinking he's somehow larger than life. To hell with that...
Saban said he's had the rib problem for a while. He played with it during the SEC Championship game and did OK. Bad ribs wasn't the reason he stunk it up in the NCG. His receivers either weren't getting sufficiently open, or he was too afraid of being intercepted to stick the ball in there. ...

Applewhite may have been in a good position to know what Alabama's offensive tendencies were back when he was he author of those tendencies, but now that Alabama uses a different offensive guy to draw up their schemes, how exactly is Applewhite suppose to have some sort of special insight into what ...

re: Most Obsessed Fanbase

When I think of the LSU fan base (negatigers in particular) I'm reminded of that scene in the 80s movie, Trading Places, where Dan Aykroyd is standing outside of a restaurant in the pouring rain, watching as his usurper is inside enjoying a fine meal. ...

Why are ranters so insecure?

Posted by Americas Team on 12/10/09 at 7:45 pm
They're always doubting everything about LSU it seems. The coach, the players, the fans, etc.. everyone is suspected of being sub-par in the minds of the nega-tards. It reminds me of the cavemen on the Geico commercial -- afraid of being exposed as a lesser entity in the eyes of the rest of the h...
