Jeff Traylor is definitely that guy for this cycle

Why would Jeff Traylor cause a meltdown?
He’s a solid coach.
I haven’t seen any Ag speak poorly of him.

Your boosters are paying a collective $100 million to get rid of Jimbo and company and you don’t think there would be a meltdown when his replacement is a first time p5 coach that doesn’t have a track record of p5 recruiting or success?

Mel Tucker at aTm would make this board meltdown.

Hiring Traylor wouldn't cause a major meltdown. Of course it would not be greeted with the fanfare of a Dan Lanning or other big name hire.

The positive is Traylor would really lock down Texas recruiting with the support of High school coaches throughout the state. He will also come cheap and can be easily fired if it doesnt work out.

Negative is no one knows how he would handle SEC competition. He could fall flat on his face.

I think the real meltdown is if they break the bank again and hire a washed up Dabo. A&M would never recover financially. Jimbo 2.0 and the laughingstock continues.

Wasn’t he super successful at North Dakota State and won the Big 12 last year? He has a long track record of success and has overachieved in the Big 12 based on their talent.

You think a P5 head coach is required?

Better programs than A&M have gone G5 head coach or P5 coordinator: Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State, Oregon, Washington.

Traylor would be a great hire for the Aggies, which is why I don’t expect them to do it.
