I've had the same experience for a few months when watching anything live. It has been especially bad using a Roku 3, almost unwatchable. Better using a Sony Android TV, but still buffers occasionally....

I got to play with one at the Microsoft kiosk here today. I was really impressed. I couldn't believe how thin it was. About as thin as a Surface RT....
