Have noticed recently that PSVue is glitchy. I have had it for over a year and it's been rock solid, but over the last few days, the service stops for a few minutes every now and then. At first, I thought it was my router or my ISP acting up. Put my phone on airplane mode, then activated WiFi. Two TV's froze at the same time, so I checked my phone and it worked with a web browser. Also, I use FireTV boxes, so used the remote and everything else was working, so it's a PSVue issue.

Anyone else seeing this or is it isolated to my area in DFW?

I'm running it on a PS4 and FireTV, working perfectly fine for me.

The problem with any streaming service is the number of variables outside the control of the customer/user. This is why for us, the most consistent/reliable model for movie/TV watching is downloading or ripping to a local server and connecting workstations throughout the house to that server with hardwired connections.

It's been acting up for the last month for us. We run it off of our Apple TV in the living room and the app on our phone to the Chromecast in the bedroom. It pauses, skips forward/backward and then the audio/video doesn't match up. It's pretty unwatchable at times.

I really think it's the particular app on the devices because we also run it on a fire stick on the outside tv and don't have any problems.

It does seem to be performing a little better this past weekend.

I've had the same experience for a few months when watching anything live. It has been especially bad using a Roku 3, almost unwatchable. Better using a Sony Android TV, but still buffers occasionally.

When mine (fire TV) is really slow and freezing repeatedly, I unplug it and it works fine after that.

The only element in the equation you can control is your own network. Are any of the FireTVs hardwired to the router? If not I'd give that a try and see if that eliminates problems. Different things can interfere with wifi, I know that on one of my older routers turning on the microwave would pretty much kill every connection near the kitchen.

All we use are FireTV and Fire sticks.

This morning, at the exact same moment, the box in the front guest room, where I was, stopped working on PSVue and box in the family room, where my wife was, stopped working with PSVue.

In both cases, everything else on the FireTV boxes worked fine. It was only PSVue. Can't blame it on the boxes because it occurred simultaneously.

I have PSVue running on two FireTVs, one hardwired and one not. I'm not having that issue on my end.

Do you have a lot of other applications open when using Vue?

Try closing all other applications and only using Vue and see if that changes anything.
