Removing political opponents from the ballot...and Republicans are the threat to democracy? ...
I just think it's funny that the Dems charge Trump with being a "threat to democracy", yet the same Dems are the ones removing their opponent's name from the ballot. Not allowing people to vote for their preferred candidate is the actual threat to democracy. I also think it's funny that the same...

In RDR2, I wanted to play the good role, but all the fun side stuff required me to be evil. I'm just sitting there grilling some meat at my camp in the middle of a field and a wagon comes by with a lady in the back screaming for help. Let's go see what that is. Of course she's a criminal and I ge...
What's sad is they call Trump all these names because of what he said during a secretly taped private conversation where he was most likely making stuff up to sound cool...and yet when Biden actual does this stuff and it's documented on camera....silence....
I'm looking to get back into Fantasy Baseball after sitting out since COVID. I'm interested in taking over for an inactive manager in a keeper league and trying to revive the team. Please let me know if you need a manager like that in your league. Thanks!...

Agree with everyone above. Filed my taxes not knowing I was going to even get a K-1, then amended by return when I received it. Well, that put me in the back of the line to get my refund. It didn't show up for 10 months, but at least they included some interest. The stock was even in tax def...
I thought it was absurd that they would drop the firearm enhancement to the charge considering the manslaughter was made possible by a firearm, but then I found in the article that the reason they're dropping the firearm enhancement is because they changed the statute well after the incident took pl...

I thought you could only gift someone $16k annually tax-free, $17k in 2023. Outside of what to do the net amount, I believe you might owe taxes on the excess gifts over $16k. Maybe you've already taken that into account - just wanted to make sure I brought it up. ...

I use Fidelity and I converted to ROTH the day after funding the traditional IRA account. So you funded your traditional IRA and decided to invest the funds while they were still in the traditional IRA instead of just waiting for the ROTH conversion?...
[quote]You're going to have to pay taxes on some amount of the conversion, at least the sep-ira portion... seems like having a Sep-ira AND trying to do a backdoor conversion would be messy. I have a day job that offers a 401k with no match. I don't like the investment options and on top of that, the firm itself charges 1% fees on balances throughout the year. So I've decided to stop contributing. I'm already maxing out the Traditional IRA contributions and doing backdoor conversi...

[quote]In light of the above fee (and limited options) scenario, I certainly understand your dilemma. One question I’d have is how long do you plan to stay with this company? What I’m thinking is, if it’s only going to be a few more years, it *might* make sense to take advantage of the pre-tax benef...

I work for a small family company that does offer a 401k, but hardly anyone participates because there is no match. The investment choices are pretty limited, and the administrator charges ~1% fees on top of what fees are charged by the funds inside the 401k. I'm thinking of stopping my contributi...
