That would work if you are close to the truck and start it often but you will still need an extension cord. :geauxtigers:...

You will nd the bubble level to make sure sat is level or you will never get a signal. We use this Dish Align app. Once you put in Baton Rouge zip code it will give you the correct settings....

Go to Harbor Freight and get the $89.00 generator, I have a RCA HD antenna that we purchased at the Dollar Store on our way to the game and we never have a problem! I think we paid about $12 for the antenna. While you are there pick up a gas can and extension cord and you are good to go....
