Good lord… watching these guys against Terrebonne tonight. I know Terrebonne isn’t very good… but destrehan looks like a damn college team… not sure how any high school football team in the state can beat those guys… surely some of these guys have to be college prospects.?

Yeah I’m hoping to watch them play next weekend at Sulphur. Been meaning to check out their roster ahead of time to see if they have any studs

Their QB is Jai Eugene, Jr. They also have a pretty good receiver in Daniel Blood.

They’re good but haven’t played anyone out of district and the district is down this year. We’ll see how the playoffs go but they’ve definitely put up some numbers! I think they’re 10th in 5A power ratings so far so that’s a reflection of their schedule.

Yes, their power rating is very deceptive. I think they’re around number 10 in division one.

They have only allowed 17 points all season. And pull starters early 3rd quarter of every game. Scoring over 42 average also

It’s been impressive. It seems like there is only one challenging game on the schedule (East St John).
I covered ESJ at STM last year. I believe the final score was around 52-50 Walker Howard put up some crazy numbers, and neither defense could get a stop.

Huge game against East Saint John coming up. I was impressed with ESJ last year. They’re well coached

I graduated from there. Norco sarpy n st rose produce athletes. There defensive end and running back both juniors damn good

I grew up in Norco and went to dhs. Don’t discount the players from Laplace that used a relatives home address.

Honestly Destrehan winning is the #1 argument against John Curtis really recruiting their team… I mean with all the athletes Destrehan has produced, why wouldn’t Curtis who is not far from there, recruit Desty dry?

Most athletes at Curtis pay the same tuition as everyone else, even the standouts. Kids look for Curtis, not the other way around.
