I was told Schmidt doesn’t want to stay in-state and would rather go pro if the opportunity presents itself. Would be glad if they were wrong but just what I’ve heard....

I mean this year quite literally proved you don’t have to win Sundays. Just take 2/3 to get a top 8 seed and get going at the right time. All those extra regular season wins don’t mean anything...

Good call. Found it on Chatham’s YouTube channel. Angle isn’t great but better than nothing. Woods came on in the 8th with a runner on 1st. Another pitcher I’m keeping an eye on is Kade Woods up in the Cape. 5.87 ERA which isn’t great, but he has put together back to back outings of no run ball. I think the biggest thing is only 2 BB in 7.2 IP so far. His biggest issue last year was command. If he continues to improve on this I think he...

The Cardinals did a similar thing last year apparently picking their lone prep player in the 20th round and that guy did not sign. Obviously every situation is different but just putting that out there....
