Little to no shot. Had the Ags delayed on the ballpark renovation, it would've most definitely been in play. ...
No move at Auburn -- and I'm not ready to call Monte Lee just yet. But seems like they're certainly try to make it seems like they had no other choice.......
All good … sorry I wasn’t around more in season. It has been incredibly busy. ...
Augie Garrido is Jay Johnson’s idol. That is fact. So yeah there are some connections there. But as much as I love the Texas job, leaving LSU right now doesn’t make much sense. LSU is LSU. It’s an awesome job. ...
Jay will do his thing. But I will say this, a lot of schools have adjusted their NiL approach. Where as a couple of teams had major NIL money before, several programs have dough. I never doubt Jay in the portal. ...
FYI - it seems people assumed I said Jay would leave. I absolutely do not think he would leave, but Texas will shoot its shot if the job opens. Big distinction. Making sure that’s clear. ...
I have some premium ivory earrings to sell you .... ...

FYI -- we just posted our Fall report on LSU today. If you guys want, I just reactivated the code CYBERD1, which will give you 3 months free at D1 with annual sub (just insert at checkout). Here's the link with a preview: https://d1baseball.com/fall-report/2023-lsu/ There’s an incredible expe...

I can, which is kind of crazy without Skenes and Crews. But this team actually has a chance to be a little bit more well-rounded come season's end. I don't think anyone on this staff has to have a 'Skenes' type of year (which won't happen anyway) for this team to have an incredible season. ...

Goodness. That's honestly very tough at this juncture. But I think these teams will be very good: Florida, LSU, Vanderbilt, Arkansas -- and I think Tennessee and A&M are both teams I'm pretty bullish on after fall workouts, too. I think LSU's pitching depth has alleviated concerns I have about this ...

I think someone like Oregon State will because the Beavers really really care about baseball -- and the pockets really care about baseball. Stanford obviously has a lot to sell, too, despite Braden Montgomery leaving over the summer. Its NIL game is still cranking up. The ones I'm kind of curious/co...

No question about that. If you aren't utilizing it as much as possible, you're going to get left behind. ...

The Waldrep tweet was keep an eye on Baton Rouge, and that was after his inner circle told me to expect him to end up there. Nothing more, nothing less. On Montgomery, I said it was bad for West Coast baseball, which it is. Just look at how much those schools are already getting dominated in some in...

I think you have me confused with someone else about going after Jay. I talk to Jay all the time. The Waldrep stuff came from his inner circle, I.e. he would likely end up at LSU. Then, Florida swooped in. I don’t remember remotely freaking out about Luke Hill. ...

I just talked to him earlier today. FWIW I saw Brown this fall and thought he was one of the better freshmen I saw this fall. He looks fantastic, granted it was a one-day snapshot at the Fall World Series. ...

Well done with that lineup prediction. You are right on. I think the biggest takeaway for me with this team is that Jay has a ton of fantastic options on the mound. LSU will have a strong rotation and it will be able to mix and match with anyone. I'd look for Justin Loer to be the 2024 version of Ri...
C‘mom guys, don’t turn this into a Mikie vs Kendall type of deal. Mikie has very legit sources and I really like him. Have gotten to know him well as his podcast has grown. Dude has a strong passion for LSU and the sport. As for Montgomery, all the information I’ve gathered would point to MSU, bu...
The first game was trash before we figured out the issue. Also, our whole job is promoting the sport of college baseball. We will continue finding the best ways to do that. I’m sure there will be bumps from time to time. Thanks for reading man. ...
