O will learn how to handle these type of calls more as time goes by. He's in the first half of year 1 of his tenure. And hes understandably pissed after a poor showing which he himself is responsible for, so its ok that he took a little frustration out on a caller...with time he'll get better at...

no I dont...there are plenty of cases where a coordinator isnt a good fit and only lasts a short time. Never is a head coach of a major program fired after 1 year....3 is pretty much the minimum absent scandal....

of course O is going to have a year 2, and probably a year 3. He got 3 years at ole miss. We very very very early, for better or worse, in the ed orgeron era.....he's going to have time to figure out how to get this thing right with hs players, his recruiting classes, his people, etc...

you can talk about the guise of continuity all you want, but the facts are this is a new head coach, new regime, new era. And new head coaches arent on the hot seat 2/5ths of the way through their first season.....thats just reality....

I didnt want O. I wanted us to go with a real coaching search after we didnt get jimbo or herman. But we went with O. And that was the choice. So we live with it. ...
