I've quit for 24 hours before but that's because I had a root canal and got vicodin.
One time during mardi gras (circa 2001) I was so drunk i actually tried to pee in a street musicians guitar case... He called the cops and I got in one good shot before spending the night in jail.

Yep, mornings feel normal now even though I know the first couple hours will be hell. Can't even eat breakfast without throwing it up. But after 10am I'm ready to go!...

Good question.
I was sober for my daughter's graduation and it was one of the most proud moments of my life. My son graduates tomorrow and I don't feel anything.

Anyone tried it? I'm 46 now and have been drinking a twelve pack a day for fifteen years plus. Able to stay in shape because I work on my own farm. Never missed a beat, just wondering what it's like to be a sober baw these days and is it worth it?
