Its been stated otherwise. CEO was given extra visits and permissions since we had a ST void. Not to mention guys like K'lavon mentioned on several occasions how Jenkins was one of the reasons he chose LSU...

AT reeled in 2 of the top 3 recruits in Tennessee, 2 5-stars at that (according to some recruiting sites)! Rather have Mathis and Wilson or Phillips and Jacoby Stevens? ....I'll wait! But I do believe it was an even trade off...

At the end of the day Austin Thomas replaced Jenkins on the recruiting trail. Personally I'd rather have Jacob Phillips than Mathis. Austin Thomas got us TWO 5 star all Americans out of state!! Come off it. Gotta give a little to get a little. ...
