I find it hard to believe that if we really wanted him that badly, we couldn't convince Pete to make a phone call.

He may not have been the lead recruiter, but are you seriously going to sit there and tell me after visiting campus a few times, you've NEVER talked to the guy?
I don't buy that shite for a second. This is just a kid knowing that a lot of people are not happy about him picking Alabama and he's trying to relieve the pressure and taking the blame off of himself.

Pete cant call anyone. he cant visit anyone. The GM kid is recruiting in his place. Pete can only see/talk to kids who are on campus for a visit.
