I just bought a used boat in October and DID NOT have to pay taxes on the boat, but I did have to pay taxes on the trailer....

Great choice in rifle... I have and use .30-06 & .308.... I tend to grab my .308 more, especially if I'm in a lock on or a climber b/c of the reduced recoil. I use 150 grain in both calibers.
My .308 is also more accurate from a steady benchrest. For me, I chose accuracy and reduced recoil over the...

Hey gents... I typically fish Sorrel and Pigeon, but I was wondering what river stage do some of you reference when launching out of Belle River Public landing?
Thinking about venturing out more in the Basin and learning more areas... thanks for your input.....

I keep hearing about Tank Battery area in Lake des Allemands. Wondering if anyone would be able to help me find this area.
I've fished des Allemands a lot but typically stay in the popular areas (Stump, Humble in Bayou, Providence, etc).

Thanks for the information... I purchased Standard Maps aerial layout of Sorrel/ Pigeon, & I was able find the canal going to Big Pigeon that comes before the canal that leads to Cowan.. I then found the same canal on Google Earth to get gps coordinates. I'll plug those into to my Garmin, & go slow...

Greetings to all.. I'm fairly new at fishing the Atchafalaya Spillway, but I was wondering if anyone could tip me off to a fairly easy way to get to Big Pigeon.
