St. Charles has never won a state championship in baseball?

That program has to be the best one in the state to have never won a championship yet. Crazy how baseball is!...

Sweet gig I guess? I know that the parish is pretty rural with not many schools. Must be good to have that school always so far in the playoffs....

PBS doesn't suck...Mitchell is a very good coach. He was the first assistant under ML....

Yes Cecchini is great, but he gets great USSSA players. Has gotten great players from Sulphur and other areas to to venture there. Not sure what 3A Brusly gets. Their success is different than pre-2009 as Barbe has been good for much longer than Brusly....

I believe it's worth considering him as the best coach in the state. Since after the end of the 2009 school year, he is 16-7 in the playoffs. Today advancing to the quarterfinals. His knock is that he hasn't won a state championship yet. This year they are the 1 seed and only lost 4 games all season...
