I've tried a few different of the more expensive kayaks and feel my fs12t matches all of them or beats some as far as performance goes. The open layout if the deck is awesome and the storage in the middle is good too. I am a larger guy so the scrupper holes leak on me bit my 14 year old son goes out...

I've tried scrupper plugs in and out. When I take them out the water builds faster. When I paddle at any kind of decent speed considering, the water drains out fairly quickly. However with the scrupper plugs in not so much. I understand I'm a larger guy so tgat plays a big role in it. I tried a big...

The scrupper plugs leak by so bad! Yesterday while out it seemed to fill the back portion of my yak and a good bit in the middle. I had it trimmed pretty even but it got a little tough to paddle there at the end with the added weight. Can you give me an idea on said stadium seat?...

Ascend fs12t problems

How many of you have the new style fs12t and have scrupper plug issues? Also planning on building a new seat frame and mounting a boat seat on it. One of the plastic, lighter seats you would use by the trolling motor. Any suggestions? ...

Did pretty good at double bayou lagoon on Sunday. No real big trout but definitely so e keepers. Nice reds though. None being less than 22 in. The 3 keeper trout were all between 17 and 15 in....

I will say I'd rather shoot a grammar nazi over a thief though! Pretty much feel they are below the scrotum on the totem pole of life...

thieves need to get a dayum job!

Posted by GUJitsu131 on 8/28/14 at 12:28 am
I already posted this in outdoor. Some damn thieves just tried to steal my kayak out the back of my truck! I'm my own damn yard. I don't live in a bad area or anything. Ticks me off! How would you handle if you caught someone stealing your stuff?...

Some little punks just tried to steal my kayak out of the back of my truck! How would you handle it if you catch them in the act?...
Yeah, I can drive myself crazy when it comes to spending any kind of significant amount of money especially if it's for something that will affect something I'm doing. I'll have to just try them out where I fish the most and see what I like. I'll eventually end up getting another paddle and a pedal....
Did you get the PEDDLE version or the non PEDDLE version? I only keep adding PEDDLE in every post in all caps to irritate the grammar nazis...
Why the slayer over big rig? The big rig had to have a good bit more space. How big are you? I'm 6'2" and 235. My ascend works good and I even stand and fish but very carefully. PEDDLE...
I reserved a big rig for Monday to take out. I'll probably do the same thing for a few others including the hobies over the next few weeks to help make my decision. Figured that's truly the only way to decide if paddle or PEDDLE works best for me. ...
2 weeks ago a few of us easily paddled 5 miles. We spent all dayum day on the water and we're completely exhausted afterwards. That was the huge push for the peddle. However, I really do enjoy the paddling of my ascend. Will probably toss and turn and stress about this until hair turns gray or a bre...
I'm seriously conflicted. I have an ascend fs12t that I like a lot but definitely see the need to upgrade. I like the big rigs from what I see but really interested in the hobies as well. I'm renting a big rig for my trip Monday and probably a hobie for my trip later in the week. Well see how it goe...
New to this whole kayaking thing. Seriously contemplating a hobie but also either a big rig or predator xl. I want to hear your reasoning behind what you perfer....

I do appreciate it. Hoping to go check it out next week. Is the entire area directly across from Bobby Lynn's usually pretty good? Some spots hit or miss? ...
