re: Orange Beach golf recommendations for next week - THEAdamBanks

re: South Texas College of Law - THEAdamBanks
Took the lsat twice. First time went up 14 points. Went up an additional 4 the second time. But in all fairness, i studied a lot the month before and locked myself in a room 8 hours a day the two weeks before the exam. ...

re: South Texas College of Law - THEAdamBanks
I took a practice lsat and got a 148. Took a Kaplan course, twice actually, and moved up significantly. I highly recommend this before you go to law school based on an lsat you didn't study for. It's a simple test if you put in the work. Kaplan is $2500 or something along those lines, but you ar...

They focus a lot on trial advocacy. Every trial competition I went to, they always had a really good team. Depending on where you wanted to end up, it may not be a bad choice. ...

re: How far is too far to live from work? - THEAdamBanks
I go 35 into work and an hour on the way home. I don't mind the drive Monday through Friday. I want to live closer, because it's a pain when I need to meet someone or do something in Baton Rouge. Nothing is worse than a commute home after a night out with friends. So take that into consideration...

Bo, Barkley, and the Big Hurt- Spinoff, Other Big 3s - THEAdamBanks
After watching the SEC storied on Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley, and Frank Thomas, I told my SO that there had to be another school in that situation. She said there wasn't and challenged me to think of one. So I'm coming here for help to prove her wrong. Name a school that had a baseball player, ...

re: The Players is a Major - THEAdamBanks
In the Bobby Jones era, the four majors were the US Open, British Open, US Amateur, and British Amateur. Subsequently, it was changed to professional majors, and it was the Masters, US Open, British Open, and PGA. Jack had two majors- his two US Amateur wins- which were essentially lost after he...

re: Chris Rock explains how baseball got so white and old - THEAdamBanks
[quote] you have this stance because you have a rooting interest in LSU, but if it weren't for LSU I'd never watch an inning of college baseball, its pretty shitty. The new balls have helped a little but there's no way you can tell me its a better product than MLB, that's just retarded and I don't ...

re: Chris Rock explains how baseball got so white and old - THEAdamBanks
I agree, but you have to start somewhere. I'm not advocating for college football type coverage of college baseball. But in terms of growing the game, this could be a valid option. ...

re: Chris Rock explains how baseball got so white and old - THEAdamBanks
I'm a 20 something Caucasian who grew up playing baseball, and I haven't watched an MLB game in ten years. The pitchers are too good and they don't make any mistakes. When they do make a mistake, it ends up in the stands. If a guy hits a ball in the gap, it is like both teams deem it to be a dou...

It's all preferential, but if I had to list my favorite holes from both courses, in order, it would be a little bit before I got to a hole from Copper Mill. But I agree they have similarities in terms of money problems. ...

If This Then That App. IFTT (edit in the OP) - THEAdamBanks
Saw a tweet about this website, and have looked into it a little bit. It seems helpful, but not sure what I would use it for. Maybe text the SO on my way home? Anyone have any good uses for it? EDIT: I thought this was a well known app and didn't need to be explained. http://mobile.pcma...
