Johnny Manziel Names The College Coach He'd Want His Kid To Play For
© Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports
Johnny Manziel touched on a variety of personal topics during his recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast. One of them was which college coach he'd want his hypothetical son to play for in 2024...
quote:

"Without a doubt," the former Texas A&M star answered. "Me and him, being Texas guys, we've had a great relationship for years. Looking back on our relationship now, he knew there was something special in me to the point where he'd interject in my life at times, or send me a message.

"If I was a college kid now, Texas A&M is the best school in the country, that's a given, but No. 2, I would play for a guy who's a leader of men and for a guy who carries himself the way that Prime does."

"If I was a father, and my son was looking to go to play for a coach, I would absolutely, without a doubt, unequivocally send him to Coach Prime," Manziel said.

A general rule of thumb in life is to do the opposite of what Johnny Manziel would do. This is one of those times.
