One Gator Sang Alma Mater After Loss

Following the Gators loss to Louisville Wednesday, backup LB Darrin Kitchens (who did not play in the game) made his way over to the portion of the Superdome closest to the Florida band. There, with his helmet proudly held high, he sang the Florida alma mater for one last time this season.

That is the type of player you want on your side. I bet he would run through a wall for his team.

If I were a business owner this young man would have a job offer lined for him the day after he receives his diploma.

Very Classy Move! My hats off to him!! He showed a lot of character, something his teammates and coaches seem to be lacking that night!

Good For Him. I think too many fail to recognize that this is amateur sport. Even though the "big" money all around has all but destroyed that categorization.
