I have a wedding I'm attending in Alys Beach, any recommendations on where to stay in this area? Any good bars and restaurants recommendations? I'm part of the wedding party, looking somewhere in Alys, Watercloor, Seacrest, rosa Mary, etc. It's my first time in that area. I usually stay near Sendestin.

There is a hotel in the Alys beach complex. But your probably looking at about $350+ a night.

There is a hotel in Rosemary Beach called "The Pearl". Very nice place less than 5 min away. Otherwise, it is mostly rental homes in the area.

Restaurants to consider:
- Havana Beach in Rosemary Beach (it is located in the Pearl hotel)
- George's in Alys Beach
- Caliza in Alys Beach
- Cafe Thirty-A

Yeah, we just got back from a stay at a rental between Alys and Deer Lake. 1 BR directly on the beach for $150 a night (including fees and taxes)

In Alys Beach, we ate at George's. It was good, but probably my least favorite meal of the trip (not because it was bad - we just enjoyed the others more). Second was Cafe 30A (their BOGO entree happy hour is a fantastic deal!) and our absolute favorite was Roselie Dining & Seafood Bar. We did the chef's tasting meal on Friday night - best meal I've had anywhere in a long time.

Alys Beach is still in building mode. It's not nearly as established with restaurants, housing and shopping as Rosemary Beach or Seaside.

Probably your best bet is to round up others in the wedding or friends and rent a house in Seacrest. Its adjacent to Alys and there are plenty of options.
