Universal Orlando, early entry with stay question.

Booked Universal, decided to cut to two nights two days from three nights, since we have to meet family in central Florida Early Saturday.

I have two day park to park tickets, but plan on checking out the hotel before I go to the park on the second day.

If I do this do I still get early entry into the park?
So for instance, stay at Cabana Bay Wednesday go to Universal Thursday, Stay on site that night, get up early check out, put bags in car and go to park, do we still get the early entry.

I'm not sure if I have to use it the day I stay or it can be used after the day i stay.
