Aria is incredibly nice inside and out. If you are looking for a high energy daytime pool scene I would highly recommend encore hotel, the pool there gets bananas and your neck will be sore from staring at all the eye candy

Have always enjoyed MGM. Mandalay Bay is nice also. Avoid Luxor at all costs.

You can't go too wrong. Just stay away from the stratosphere. It is disconnected from the strip and by a bad part of town.

IMO make your decision based on location first then hotel
Along the strip there isn't much that separates the top of the line hotels
Cosmo and Aria are great but a little too ritzy and snobby for me.
I really enjoy Ballagio, Ceasers and Venitian for the locations.
New York, Paris, and Mirage are a step below but still good options
Company does a week long conference every year in Vegas and we've done Venetian, Ceasers and Pallazo
All were great, but for total package it's hard to beat ceasers- shopping, location, pool, eating, gaming, sportsbook

Cosmo, wynn/encore, and aria are the 3 current hotspots.
Venetian/palazzo a notch below.
It really depends what are you guys into and what part of the strip do you want to be at.
