Apparently Hurricane Jose is still churning and will affect NYC / New England this week. I got an alert from United to this effect.

Airports:

Boston, MA (BOS)
Hartford, CT (BDL)
New York/Newark, NJ (EWR)
New York-Kennedy, NY (JFK)
New York-LaGuardia, NY (LGA)
Philadelphia, PA (PHL)
Providence, RI (PVD)
White Plains, NY (HPN)

Original travel date(s):

September 18, 2017 - September 20, 2017

I noticed this alert earlier today but wasn't sure if anyone on here was flying through the northeast. JFK is apparently a nightmare right now. Over 4 1/2 hour delays on inbound flights, they were down to 1 runway earlier today as well

The U.N. meeting is probably creating more of a travel issue than the storm. Hotels are outrageous!
