The Mighty Five - Utah

I'm thinking about making the trip to Utah in April to do some hiking/camping in the mighty 5 (Caynonlands, Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Parks). Has anyone done this trip before? Utah weather in April? Any suggestions are welcome
Looking to complete this trip, or as much as possible in a week timeframe.
TIA

Yup. Went in May of 2015 from Athens... drove in from New Mexico and Colorado into the southeastern corner of Utah up to Moab. It's doable in a week certainly, but you won't see everything each park has to offer.
My favorite of the 5 is Capitol Reef. It's the most remote of the 5, the least visited, and IMO the most surprising beauty wise.
As for suggestions... just do it. See them all. Hit the highlights of each.
To see them all in a week:
Arches - delicate arch hike & devils garden
Canyonlands - islands in the sky scenic drive, maybe gooseberry canyon
Capitol Reef - scenic drive, burr trail road or notom-bullfrog road, orchards, cathedral valley, capitol gorge hike (tanks), hike to the halls Creek overlook on the south tip of water pocket fold
Bryce - hike down into the amphitheater, around the hoodoos, Bryce point, and rainbow point
Zion - the narrows and angels landing
Weather in April is sketchy... it's that time of year that a late winter storm could hit, or it could be warm and sunny. It's best to play it by ear and keep an eye on the weather a couple weeks before you head out.

Expedition Portal
More geared towards expedition vehicle camping, but there is tons of good info on that site. Sounds like an awesome trip.

Hit Arches on day trip from Park City on Thanksgiving week. We did the Delicate Arch hike and I fell in love with that region. Will be back to do all 5 plus Grand Canyon and the canyon slots. It is one of the most special places I've visited.

Utah weather in April?
We went the last week in April. Morning lows were in the 30's, afternoon highs in the 60's. Temps can vary greatly due to elevation. Drove through a snowstorm in Dixie National Forest and hiked with a short sleeve shirt in Bryce Canyon 2 hours later.
We spent 5 days on the ground and only made it to Zion, Bryce, and Grand Staircase Natl. Monument.

Bryce could easily have snow. Have camped it in the spring as they were opening a second campground as the snow melted. Zion and arches are crowded. Campgrounds can fill up really fast. Like by 11:15am at times. Finding a spot at capital reef is easy...
My favorite is the needles side of canyonlands. 50 miles down the road to nowhere. Remote. Stayed 10 days or so there.
Awesome part of America..enjoy
