Any recommendations? We will be staying in Capitol Hill. I love beer, music, and just about any food. We're renting a car to go up into the mountains one day. Well have it the whole time so traveling a bit is not a big deal.

We're not planning too heavily, just gonna go with the flow mostly. Going to a Rockies game on the 22nd.

Check out Falling Rock Tap House. It's walking distance from Coors.

Denver was a pretty depressing place a few years ago when I went. The homeless numbers in Denver are crazy and there always seems to be a protest going on in the city!

Now everything else about Colorado I really, really, loved. Its one of the most beautiful places in the USA...

I really enjoyed the downtown Union Station area when we were there. We liked Larimer street as well.

Tons and tons of good beer out there. Look for some of the smaller brewers beers like Funkwerks and Crooked Stave (though those are both saison/sour specialists, which is what I like).

I'm not a big fan of the city

OP, get out of the city as much as possible and into the mountains. That is what Colorado is about
