Has anyone here flown SAS on a long-haul flight? I'm thinking about booking a flight to Norway in January, and would love to hear your thoughts--good, bad or otherwise.

I've heard nothing but good about them, several folks I know used them as part of their Volvo vehicle factory pickup itinerary through to Gothenburg.

I can probably predict OK female talent for their flight attendants and the Swedes are generally meticulous straight-up folks as to the mechanical & safety aspect of flying on their equipment.

Here's SAS's US gateways-

New York JFK
Washington IAD
Chicago ORD
Boston
Los Angeles
Miami
San Francisco

Book confidently. I'm a fan and they're a Star Alliance member so I've used them multiple times, each with good results.

I've never done a long haul with them, but fly with them once a month or so for work. Pretty dependable. Nothing too special.
