Looking for some craft beer options, not to buy but just to go and grab some decent food with a decent bar selection. Plan on spending two days in Mobile on the way down to Florida.
I also plan on hitting Fairhope Brewing on Sunday

Alchemy Tavern (no food) and Loda Bier Garten (good burgers) downtown have best craft selections. Both are across the street from each other so you could easily check out both.

If your looking for a nice dinner try Chuck's Fish (good food but very weak craft beer selection) or Dumbwaiter (awesome food good draft). All four places are easy walking distance.

I seriously think they have more bottles of Boone's Farm than craft beer. Fun bar though if you're 19...

One craft beer bar I forgot to mention is Haberdasher. Nice bar, good people but gets packed

Also Mobicon is going on at the Riverview Plaza hotel downtown so there will be some interesting folks milling around downtown. Should be a good time on Dauphin

Please post reviews and have fun

Original Oyster House: it's where my Mobile friends like to eat. Arrive early to beat the crowds; also one in Gulf Shores area, that's not as good.

If you'll find out where it is, you'll also discover a flanking movement around the tunnel...

For lunch get a burger at Callaghans on Marine Street. They have a good beer selection. Good live music at night but small venue and off main downtown strip. Laid back restaurant in middle of neighborhood.

Here now actually. If you're already in town come by and I'll buy you a beer.
