Spent a couple hours there yesterday afternoon on the way back from Santa Fe.
What an awesome place. Had never even heard of the place until I saw it on Google maps while driving through Amarillo.
Gonna plan a trip for the spring to go in an RV or motorhome.
It's about 25 miles south of Amarillo.

It's a great place. Almost got bit by a huge rattle snake when climbing some of those rocks.

The article should say 2nd widest canyon.

My parents took us camping there as kids on the way to Colorado. I've also recently been back on my way to Santa Fe. It's a great place and I'm looking forward to renting one of their little "cabins" and spending a long weekend there one day. I currently live in Dallas so it's about 5 hrs. It's amazing the number of people who live in TX that don't even know this exists.

Pictures were way more impressive than it was in person for me.
