Oktoberfest -- anyone here?

Weather has been poor and locals say concern for terrorism has kept the crowds down. Tons of police everywhere.
Managed to sit get a spot at a reserved table tonight in the Augustiner tent after a little sweet talking. Augustiner supposedly has the best beer but it tastes the same as the others to me.

It's the best. Their Helles & Weissbier are my favorites, and I'm sure the Festbier is great too.

It was a tough call this year between Oktoberfest and Wurstmarkt. I chose Wurstmarkt since it is the 600th anniversary of it. Will do Oktoberfest next year.

We will be in Munich in late November. Hitting the Christmas markets and castle tours in the area.

I'm on my way. I'll be there Wednesday to Wednesday. I have the Marstall tent on Friday and Hofbrau on Sunday.
