Will be heading there in November. I been there once during a cruise but the experience was limited. Wife and I will be there 5 nights this time around. TIA.

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas. Possibly the best dive shop in the world. If you don't dive go snorkeling with them and swim with the sharks.

We stayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian, which was nice.
Dolphin Encounters is a really neat place. They take you on a boat over to a private island. We enjoyed it. We actually swam with sea lions instead.
Nassau itself is an ok place for one day. They have the Straw Market which is like a flee market. They also have a Senor Frogs.
Eat at the Fish Fry (series of restaurants). Get the conch balls with calypso sauce. Well worth it, fish of the day is amazing, and if you are lucky, you can watch them shuck a conch.
Buses are super cheap, like $1 per person each way and they hit all the major destinations/hotels like Bay Street.

I was just about to say all of this.

Yeah, Fish Fry is great. Bunch of restaurants and a place the locals eat.

That seems like a very long time, unless you are staying at Atlantis. I feel like you could hit pretty much the entire city in one day, and the rest of the time, it's just hanging out at the beach.

Nassau is pretty meh in my opinion compared to other islands in the Bahamas.

Agreed. Eleuthera all day every day.

Agreed. I recommend changing plans and avoiding Nassau. It's awful

One&Only is really really nice. You can take a 5 minute ride from One&Only to do Atlantis whenever you want a change in scenery. One warning, food and drinks is expensive. $15-$20 for a mix drink $10 for a beer, $25 for a hamburger for lunch. If you go, you can go off property and get some alcohol and bring it back to your room and store in your mini fridge.

I thought it was ridiculously overpriced.

Dinner in wine cellar at GreyCliff if you are into wine.

I agree that Nassau is Meh. Been 3 times. Stayed at Sandals Royal Bahamian. Needed updating bad. Straw Market is a last resort. I always wanted to do Atlantis. I know it's expensive but still wanted to do at least 1 day there. Someone is building a serious competition to it right next door.

Nassau is the armpit of the Bahamas. 5 days there for me would be a sentence.
Graycliff is about the only redeeming feature, don't miss the wine cellar.
