Have a window July 24-31 and looking for some ideas for a kid-less trip including a flight to somewhere in Caribbean for fairly cheap.
We went to San Juan a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but wanted to try somewhere different.
Ideas?

I'm in a giving mood so I'll help you out with flights and maybe hotel if I can find a good deal. How about Belize or Cancun? Belize is $339 roundtrip, $333 to cancun. This is sunday the 24th to saturday the 30th. That way you have sunday to recover plus 6 nights away from kids.
ETA: My sister booked 2 double beds with free massages + mimosas and fruit in the mornings in punta cana plus airfare for $1200 roundtrip (including airfare and all inclusive) for 6 nights. It's called breathless punta cana resort and spa, might be more geared towards single women but just in case y'all want an all inclusive it's an option

Go to Cuba. Good to go now before American tourism ruins it

Sound like a good deal...do you know what site she booked with?

Oh yeah and is that $1200/person?

Yes $1200 per person (airfare and hotel July 13-18), but this was from philly. She was planning on booking with orbitz but she called the hotel and told them the price. They matched (I'm guessing since they didnt want to lose the booking).

As a person who knows lots of people who have been in recent months, I'm anti Cuba.
I'll be in OCMD that week myself. We usually go to Atlantis in the Bahamas that time of the year and our little one loves that place.

I've done two trips with them and have never had any issues at all. The only problem is that you sound trashy when you tell people that you booked with them.
