My wife and I are heading to LV 1/22-1/24. We’re staying at Mandalay Bay.
I’ve been a few times on bachelor parties, she’s never been.
Dinner recs? Show recs? What else?
We arrive early Sat afternoon and we leave Monday at noon. Thanks!

Zuma at the Cosmo is incredible for dinner
There are so many great options but we always try and hit places we cannot get at home - Zuma is one of those

A friend told me that these dates are the weekend before the AVN awards(The Porn Academy awards). I’m sure she’s lovely, but you may want to leave the wife at home.
Just sayin’…

I’m definitely not a show person, but I have enjoyed every Cirque du Soleil show I’ve been to.
I’ve heard really good things about One (Cirque du Soleil at Mandalay Bay). Absinthe is good, but a little provocative/innuendo/adult language.
Cocktail options: Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay (best whole view of the Strip), Vanderpump Garden at Caesar’s Palace (chic ambiance and excellent bar bites), Clique at Cosmopolitan, and Lily Bar at Bellagio.
Dining: Lago at Bellagio (request a fountain view), Yellow Tail at Bellagio (request a fountain view), Stack at The Mirage, Carson Kitchen downtown, Beauty and Essex at Cosmopolitan (I love the vibe here). A good super casual place is Tru Kitchen at Caesar’s Palace.
Reservations are a must! Most places allow bookings up to 30 days in advance.

One thing I want to do next time we’re there is a tasting “experience” at Lost Spirits distillery in Area15. Look into it, it seems fun. MeowWolf is there too.
Also recommend Absinthe for a show, or Paranormal: Mind Reading Magic Show (make sure to meet the guy after if you go; he will guess the number you’re thinking of!)

Absinthe is the best show.
Although you arent staying at the venetian, you should at least check it out. The area that is made to look like italy is badass.

We were there in September. We had a delicious dinner at The Palm Steakhouse at Caesar's, but the most memorable meal we had was at Spago at the Bellagio. It was a beautiful night and we sat out on the terrace next to the railing overlooking the fountain which erupts in to an elaborate light, music and water show every few minutes. Fantastic food and atmosphere.

My preferred place to stay at in Vegas The location kinda sucks but everything else is first class.

Dinner recs?
Stripsteak inside of Mandalay Bay is good. I also like Rao's inside of Caesars Palace, and Andiamo's Steakhouse inside of The D downtown. Nine Fine Irish Guys inside NYNY is pretty good too.

As others have said, the Cirque de Soleil shows are incredible. The Beatles one is my personal favorite, it's at the Mirage. Mike Hammer's Comedy Magic show at the Four Queens downtown is another good one and tickets are relatively cheap in comparison to Cirque de Soleil.

What else?
If you make your way downtown, would definitely recommend The Downtown Cocktail Room. By far my favorite bar in Vegas. Super laidback vibe and the service and cocktails they have are incredible.
Have fun

Michael Jackson ONE is one of the best shows in Vegas. It’s at the Mandalay Bay as well.

Check out Mt Charleston. 30 min from the strip. If the weathers right it may snow. Cool restaurant up there too.

Cirque Ka is sub par. Wish someone had warned me.

I have been to Mt Charleston and enjoyed it. It is the minor leagues as far as ski resorts go but it is an easy day trip from Vegas.

Thanks for all of the recs.
I’m sure once we’re on the strip we most likely won’t leave.
Looking into Michael Jackson One tickets now.

I did a comedy show out at the RIO. I think it was called the Las Vegas Comedy Club.
The usually have a few comics that have been on TV. There are 5 comics. When you are there Marsha Warfield from the show Night Court will be there.
