I suggest going into the park in the late afternoon/evening and hiking the Pa’rus Trail along the river (from shuttle stop 3) while the sun sets. It’s paved and an easy walk, but beautiful during sunset. ...

If on a M-F, walk over to the Menger Hotel (next to the Alamo) and do the lunch buffet. It’s pretty small but the food they do have is incredible!...

We unplugged all major appliances/electronics and cut breaker to air conditioner, dryer and stove (couldn’t easily get to that plug)....

I think it’s the transformer as well. Our house had the same problem. We talked to several neighbors feeding off the same transformer, and they all had varying levels of power, but none had FULL power. They had to come and replace the transformer, fixed all our issues.

If you’re looking for a fun bar (no food though), reserve a porthole table at Undertow in the Scottsdale area. They moved to a bigger building since we went, but we really enjoyed it....

Wanted to chime in, if y’all enjoy kitschy type places, The Golden Tiki bar in Chinatown is amazing. They’re open, check their Facebook page for info about group reservations. Also would suggest checking out the old Sigma Derby game in the D (downtown) if it’s operational....
