How terrible of a drive is it from DFW to Midland, TX?

Based on my calculations, I'm going to need every last Delta flight this year to get me back to Gold Medallion and it appears that DFW is the closest location.

Thoughts?

When Abilene is the only thing inbetween, it's not good. Still better than 55 north from Hammond

Depends on how your people interpret nothingness.

Pretty awful.

I have to make the drive from Shreveport to Midland next week and I've made the drive many times before.

Not too bad. I mean, Abilene is really the only town in between and it is a pretty mind numbing drive. That said, it's all I-20. Put the car up to 80 on cruise and you can be there a little over 4 hours.

Only 4-5 hours. Not bad. The worst part is ending up in Midland.

It's really not bad. You can do 80-85 most of the way without worrying about it. I'd rather drive to midland than shreveport.
