Do you think we could have it in time to go to Mexico at Christmas?

Just took us 2 months to renew.

Submitted last week of July, received last week of September. Standard service though BR clerk of court at the old Women's Hospital.

We mailed my wife's renewal on Aug 26.

Check cached about a week after that.

Still waiting.

We sent our renewals in the week before memorial day (later part of May) and got them back first week in September, so it was about 10-12 weeks total on 2 renewals.

Thread

Just ran into this mess with daughter going in December. We ended up having her Senator set up an appointment in November. Have to get to Seattle first, but we're working on a layover for her. Theory was it'd be too much of a risk to mail it in, even if it was expedited.

We had to get new passports for our kids since theirs were expiring. They had to apply for new ones as this was their first “adult” passport. We did an expedited application since we have a trip coming up around Thanksgiving. Submitted the application at the Post Office on Bluebonnet on Sept 18. Notified today that it was approved and sent to printing and should be here next week. So about 5 weeks.
