Someone told me they were just approved for sale the first of June. Not sure if that's accurate and have not looked.
I'm not up to date on that but last I knew only medical patients could get edibles.
You can in WA but they are restricted to how potent they can be. I honestly don't like these because I don't feel anything.
Eta...they are available in June but they are low level edibles.

Are the edibles in Colorado that much more potent?

If you visit the Columbia River Gorge, stop by Hotel for lunch or dinner. Nice location for a romantic dinner with your wife

Went to Portland a couple of weeks ago.. Only did 1 night, but it was fun.
Started out at 10 Barrel's rooftop bar. Had a pilsner, summer wheat, and a cran/lime sour. All really good. Eventually did half and half with the sour/summer and it was legit.
Went to Henry's 12th Tavern. Upstairs. Pretty cool as well.
After that, we went to Dig a Pony across the river. Didn't stay long. Uber after that.
Will hit up Cascade next time.
Portland is gorgeous. Comfortable weather.
Going on the 5 or 405 and the bridges, it's a pretty sweet layout.

You can hit up Cascade for good sours. The Commons is only a couple of blocks away - cool brewery with some very good Belgian beers. Also right there in the same 4 block area is The Green Dragon, Growler Guys (best place in town to get some crowlers to bring home), and the Loyal Legion. There are also some great restaurants in that area, as well.
Within walking distance, you also have Base Camp (very cool place to hang out), Burnside Brewing, and many cool places to get wine or cocktails. In other words, No Uber would be needed...

Anybody stayed at Hotel deLuxe in Portland? I just booked there for 4 nights. Thanks in advance.

Not a bad location. Walking distance to Washington Park, Pioneer Square, Deschutes/Fathead's/10 Barrel Breweries, Alder Food Cart Pod, Blue Star (better than Voodoo) Donuts, and a number of good restaurants. If you're there on Saturday, the Farmers Market at Portland State is a good place to go have breakfast - if you're OK with eating on a park bench or while walking through the market.
It's just outside of the Pearl District, though, although just barely. There are lots of boutique hotels in Portland. I haven't stayed at any of them, so I can't comment.
If you have a fridge in your hotel room, Fred Meyer is a few blocks away, to stock up on stuff. Zupan's Market is a really nice place to pick up gourmet/prepared foods (as is the Elephant Deli).
ETA: Civic Taproom and Bottle Shop is 3 blocks away and a good place to go for a beer, wine, or cider. Henry's Tavern and Bailey's Taproom are close by, as well. If you like craft beer, make the circle of Fathead's, 10 Barrel (rooftop is fiya), and Deschutes. Good food at all of them, and they are all very nice, and within a 5-6 minute walk of your hotel.

Thanks Jax, I'm pumped. I'm headed there for Labor Day weekend. Can't come soon enough.
