Dtr wants to go to Carlo's Bakery .. she's was infatuated with the show since 3rd grade. We'll be staying in Manhattan and have it mapped.

It's a freaking hour! It looks like you can take the subway to lower Manhattan and then a bus to Hoboken??

Y'all ... for a cupcake?? How bad is traffic leaving NYC early in the am??

If you're going to the one at 95 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, just jump on the PATH. It's like 3.50 and takes like 20 minutes from Penn Station. Shorter if youre in the West Village area. Bakery is a 3 block walk from the Hoboken stop.

ETA: Some nice areas over there to walk down to the water and take some photos with the skyline in the background. Maybe swing by the W for a cocktail.

Oh awesome. I must have had it set to "walk" as it mapped at more than an hour. Lol at me. This is doable without wasting half of a day.

Know if the lines are always long??

No clue on the lines, and sorry I misspoke, PATH entry is at 32nd and 6th, not Penn.

Expect a line. Take the subway to a PATH station to Hoboken and it's a short walk from there.

If you're on the E then take it to WTC and the green line from there. If on the F then 33, 23, or 14 and the blue line to Hoboken. You'll pay full fare for subway and full fare for PATH. You can use metro card for each. Can't use unlimited metro card on the path

Hmmm, figured a line would be involved. Any time of day better than another?? She's wanted to go there since 3rd grade and she'll be a sophomore in the fall. lol

Depends on the day but my bet would be the earlier the better.

If you really want a cupcake just go to Crumbs.... There should still be a few locations left in Manhattan (company was having financial problems).

By far the best cupcakes I've ever had.
