What would you suggest the best place to stay between gulf shores to destin for 3-4 nights?
Needs to be on the beach and looking to spend up to ~$350 per night. It will only be 2 adults and toddler, so we are fine with a hotel setup (no kitchen).

The more stuff they have for the toddler the better...

Just got back from The Beach Club in Ft. Morgan with a 20 month old. Playground, kiddie pools, activities daily for the lil ones. We were pleased with our experience and only left the compound to eat once. Resturaunts on premises were more than adequate.
Waterscape in Ft. Walton is also pretty nice.

Fort Walton is very family friendly. As a previous poster stated, Waterscape is very nice. Has the lazy river and such. There's also a nice Best Western next to the Gulf Dunes.

We always stay at Sterling Shores in Destin. It is a short walk across one small road that is used to access a restaurant called The Back Porch. Food is great and convenient.
J Alexander's and a Candy Maker shop are both a short walk from the condo also.
The pool is very kid friendly with one of those zero/ beach entrances.
We are going June 25 for a week. Will have a 2 year old and a 16 month old.

Eh, the Sandestin Hilton is good if you're fine with a hotel. 3 restaurants on property, room service, pool bar, etc. We've gone there with kids and it's nice to have everything on site.

Informative post but why did you start it off with "Eh"? It's like you were reluctantly helping the guy

Out of curiosity, why do you not want a kitchen because you will have a toddler? From my experience, a kitchen was just about as important as pool for my beach destinations when I had a toddler.

Haha, it just seemed weird recommending a hotel. I have personally stayed there countless times with no complaints, and more recently have stayed there multiple times with kids. I exclusively use my Hilton points to cover the stay, so I'm not sure I'd pay the rack rate for a room.

Doesn't really matter where you stay, just stay close to the beach. With a 18 month old you'll be in and out a lot and won't want to be walking/driving to the beach over and over again.
