Tagging along with the mrs for a business trip. WE will have 1 evening free and I want to do Epcot with no kids.
Where is the cheapest place to get 1 day tickets?

The concierge at the resort you are staying at should have a discounted ticket for you. I actually did this in March when I went to a work conference. The EPCOT ticket was $80 I think. I was staying at the Marriot World Center.

I think she has a Wyndham booked.
I aint paying 100 per ticket for a few hours.
Are any of those strip mall places that advertise for discounted tickets legit?

The local hotels should have them. You have to ask them as they do not advertise this.

Undercover tourist cannot beat gate prices for single day tickets.

I don't know if disneyworld does this, but when we went to Disneyland last month we went on craigslist and found a girl who was selling them for about $60 opposed to $120.

I made it clear I wouldn't give her money until we got into the park. She got 3 of us easy peasy for $150 total. She works at Disneyland and they get a limited number of free passes for friends and family each year.
Good Luck

You have two options

1) do you have a friend that lives in FL? - they can purchase the tickets for you at a discounted rate

2) see if there is a convention going on at Coranado Springs or the contemporary... Ask one of them to buy the tickets for you.

If doesn't work.. Then you will pay full price.

IIRC Disney does not have a Florida resident rate for a one day ticket. I haven't been in a couple years but recall paying full price for the one day.

It sounds like you this isn't for a convention but rather, you'll be in Orlando for business, which kind of makes a difference. If it was a conference sometimes they work something out with Disney ahead of time for discounted single day tickets with entry after 3 pm, other times they work something for a full 1-day park ticket.

If it's just you in town for a day, the cheapest option is the gate price unfortunately.

Here are some good tips and places to avoid when looking for discount tickets
