Looking to rent a cabin or something with a view for a weekend in November. Been looking in Arkansas but wanted to see if anyone had some advice on another spot not too far.

Backstory. We went to Gatlinburg for our honeymoon, but this was during the fires, so we got evacuated on the first night. We just want to sit in the woods and see some scenery lol.

Arkansas is probably your best bet for something close. North Carolina has some great spots but a little further. Asheville is a super cool town surrounded by mountains and we visited last November. Highly recommend

Mount Magazine in Arkansas is nice. Has a lodge with restaurant, plus several cabins. All are perched on the ledge overlooking a valley.

I'd really look into LeConte Lodge in TN. It's hike only. No car access.
