Looking for stories from those who have visited Andalucía. I plan on going in December and so far all I know for sure is I will be in Malaga or Cordoba and Granada. Actually, the only "for sure" is Granada.

I spent a few days in Seville about a year and a half ago. I imagine the rest is great because it feels very Spanish in the romantic sense of the word.

You'll love it.

That's another town I am looking at. Anything in particular you loved the most about the area?

Well, the Alcazar is pretty great. I didn't get a chance to see the Alhambra in Grenada but I can't see why the Alcazar fails to get mentioned. Maybe because it isn't elevated?

We were there around New Year's. Orange trees throughout the city, don't need a coat during the day. Coming from Barcelona, you were immediately met by "Spain" Golden fields as we were flying in that morning, bull heads all over.

I would definitely go back to the area to really explore it. I'm jealous.

The Alhambra is one of the most incredible places I've ever been. Highly recommend going in the evening if you can get tickets.

Thanks to both of you. Very encouraging and it sounds like I made a great choice for my yearly solo vacation.
