How does one reduce what is already nonexistant?

quote:

With the continued spread of the Omicron variant, APFA has proposed a temporary reduction to onboard service levels and customer touchpoints. Our goal is to maintain the highest level of Flight Attendant and passenger safety as possible onboard the aircraft. These proposed changes lessen the time that a passenger will not be wearing a mask and, in turn, limit Flight Attendant exposure.

APFA proposals include serving entreés with salad/soup/appetizers in premium cabins when possible and reducing main cabin beverage services on domestic and IPD flights. We have asked that these reductions in service be implemented immediately.

Why have flight attendants at all then? Seriously, what are they even going to do for the whole flight?

I always thought it was overkill when they had cart service on flights that were less than an hour.

I love how the unions, all unions, are using the virus as a reason to work less but get paid the same.

And the Democrats just suck their dicks.

Says everyone until people start shitting their britches as you land in the Hudson.

Sorry, but yes. They are there first and foremost for passenger safety.

I would have to think really hard, if I was forced to chose between American and Spirit. Probably just drive.

Even though I'm Dallas based I left AA for Delta this year and never looked back.

Took one AA flight this year and it was one too many.

I never flew that other than on JSX but have flown Dallas to San Antonio on multiple occasions. AA is just juice/water while WN still managed a full beverage service.

I agree same thing Dallas to OKC. Usually you are on your 2nd or 3rd flight for the day and the last thing you need is more commotion watching them break their neck trying to serve people on a 20-30 minute flight.

Its about as unnerving as someone that just sat down next to you eating a taco salad or something else to stink up the cabin.

The most ridiculous I've ever seen was CLT-GSP in F. 74 mile flight and the FA's were still trying to serve beverages and snacks. Economy didn't get anything and the only flight shorter than that I've flown was DTW-LAN on an all economy CRJ.

Masks don't work.
How about we just admit that rather than go farther down the rabbit hole.

What happened to the good old days when flight attendants were actually hot and you actually got good service?

It seemed like it wasn't a career for most and they actually enjoyed their work.

If you're an adult on a plane that is performing an emergency landing in the Hudson and you can't figure out what to do without the help of Connor the gay flight attendant then you don't need to be on a plane....or alive

It's time we stop the charade and just let people bring their beer or cocktail they just paid $14 for on the damn plane. Distribute the snacks as they board the plane. Offer them a 8oz bottle of water or soft drink.
