Eyeing btr to yyc (Calgary) in late February.

I read that the best time to book a North American flight is 60 days prior.

However, I've looked for two weeks and prices were $364, then$409, now back to $383.

Hold off? Jump on it? What say you?

Set up an alert on google flights to track the prices, they'll send you email updates if it goes up or down. If you see it get below 300 book, i think the average is around 350 or so.

Check out hopper.com, it's an app that analyzes the fluctuation of airfares, and lets you know the best time to buy.

I also use kayak.com to include nearby airports, and I use google flights so I can compare all the airports I specify, not just what the website considers "nearby". Also check out skiplagged.com.

I'm afraid I've waited too long. The times that I wanted are not showing up any longer, and the prices have skyrocketed. I don't want to arrive later than 3:00 PM and I don't want to pay more than $400.

Did you get what you wanted for Thanksgiving?
