Yet another home security question

My house is prewired and we finished construction about 9 months ago. I never got around to turning it on because I had this notion I wanted to self monitor.
Fast forward to today. I checked online reviews and reached out to Protect America, Frontpoint, and Life something. All 3 sounded good but what about the local guys?

Do you have a security system in place, or just wires run for the sensors?
