yeah, I know, I'm still running Vista, it is what it is.

My version of Vista does not have Windows Media Center installed, and I cannot find a download for it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

which version do you have? Either it's tucked away in Programs and features where you need to go dig for it and install it, or your version of Vista doesn't support it, and you cannot install if. There are a host of alternatives. Consider J River Media Center, Media Portal, and I am almost positive there is a free standing Media Browser. then, of course, XBMC is a popular choice here. Most of those should work. Most of them are free. They'll do basically all WMC can do.

I'm trying to connect my xbox 360 to my computer. I don't have Windows Media Center which is what the xbox is asking for. Any ideas how to connect.

Do you have windows media player? Look for an option to allow media sharing in it and it will allow you to access your PC from your xbox. That's how I connect.
