Say I find a thing on thingiverse. Is here a cost effective way to have someone print it for me?

Google "3d printing service", there are lots.

You can also check your local library. You might be able to print something there yourself for a small fee.

Yeah I can only find mail delivery ones and it’s not cheap (my expectations may be too high).

I was hoping that there were sone local places that do it (Northshore). I saw where select UPS Stores offer in-store services, but none in Louisiana do.

My local library does it. They charge by weight I believe.

Library is the cheapest but color options are limited.

Like others have said, check your library. If you know someone in Jefferson Parish, the Jefferson Parish library has brand new Makerbot Method X 3d printers and charge $0.05/gram + $1.00 to print.

Step 1. Log into facebook
Step 2. Find a 3d printing group
Step 3. Ask where you can buy prints
Step 4. Pick on of the 4000 guys trying to sell prints online that just private messaged you to print your parts.

I swear there is someone everyday in every city thinking they are going to make it big printing plastic parts.
